Foodie Recipe: Strawberry Yogurt Popping Sandwich
Sandwiches are a type of Western-style breakfast. Simply put, they are made of various meats and vegetables sandwiched between two slices of bread. They can be eaten with milk, coffee and yogurt. The sandwich I recommend today is different from the past. The middle part is yogurt and strawberries, and then it is coated with egg liquid and fried until the surface is browned. The finished product is fragrant and delicious, with balanced nutrition. It can burst into pulp when you take a bite, and the calories are also very low. You don’t have to worry about gaining fat. It is especially suitable for eating in summer!
Required ingredients: 2 slices of whole wheat toast, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of thick yogurt, 5-6 strawberries, appropriate amount of cooking oil, a little powdered sugar.
Steps:
1. Cut strawberries into small cubes, add two tablespoons of yogurt and mix well.
2. Remove the four sides of the toast, and use the top of the rolling pin to press the top of the toast to form a concave shape, without pressing the edge.
3. Spoon strawberry yogurt onto toast slices and cover with another slice of toast.
4. Coat with egg liquid and fry until golden brown on the surface.
5. Cut into triangles or squares, decorate the top with strawberries, and sift an appropriate amount of powdered sugar.
Tips:
To keep the calories to a minimum, I use whole-wheat toast slices, thicker yogurt, and mango or banana for the middle-filled fruit.
