Foodie Recipe: Gimbap




Great and simple Korean cuisine. Rice and vegetable rolls, balanced nutrition.

Gimbap is a staple food. You only need to put rice, vegetables and meat together, roll it into a roll with seaweed, and then cut it into pieces. It is a combination of simple operation, diversified ingredients, rich nutrition and delicious taste. so it is loved by everyone.

Required ingredients: 250 grams of rice, 150 grams of fat beef rolls, 150 grams of spinach, 120 grams of eggs, 4 carrots, 1 small piece of seaweed, 2 slices of soy sauce, 15 ml of sesame oil, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of cooked sesame seeds, and 4 cloves of salt. 

Steps:
1. Shred carrots and chop garlic into minced garlic. Rinse the beef rolls with cold water to soften, squeeze out the excess water, add half of minced garlic, light soy sauce, a tablespoon of sesame oil and a little sugar, mix well and marinate for 20 minutes.

2. Blanch the spinach in boiling water to soften, squeeze out the water and add the remaining minced garlic, a tablespoon of sesame oil, a little sugar and salt and mix well.

3. Add the right amount of salt to the eggs and stir well, fry them into tamagoyaki and divide them into two parts from the middle.

4. Stir fry the carrots over low heat until they become soft, and then serve out the beef after frying.
5. Put the steamed rice into a container, add a tablespoon of cooked sesame seeds, a tablespoon of sesame oil and a pinch of salt and mix well.

6. Spread a piece of seaweed on the bamboo curtain first, then spread the rice evenly on the seaweed, and place spinach, carrot, tamagoyaki and beef in order.

7. Roll it up with a bamboo curtain, and press it hard while rolling it. You can smear the seaweed with water to make the seaweed fit better. After rolling it, cut it into small pieces and serve it on a plate.

Tips:
The beef rolls are more delicious after being marinated with seasonings. The ingredients in the kimbap can be selected according to your own preferences, such as: cucumber, meat floss, ham, salted radish, spicy cabbage, etc. It must be tight when rolling, otherwise it will easily fall apart when cutting.
