The Difference Between The Rich And The Poor Countries

Philippines is a developing, perhaps a poor country. But we need not to be poor. The main difference between the rich and the poor countries is the attitude of the people. People in rich and developed countries observe principles in their lives such as:

1. Ethics and Integrity
2. Responsibility
3. Respect for the laws and rules
4. Respect for the rights of other citizens
5. Love of work
6. Punctuality
7. Fast action
8. Will to save and invest

Unfortunately, in our country these principles are not important to many Filipinos. When we are visiting or living in a rich and developed country, we easily learn and follow. However, when we are living in our own country, we seem to lack the will to comply with these values. Obviously, we are poor only because of our attitude.

Let us not wait for others, even our government, to help us. Let us help ourselves. Let us take control of our lives now! 😊
