The Power Of Prayer

The power of prayer is the power of the Lord God Almighty, who hears and answers prayer. Prayer is our contact with Him, whether or not He chooses to grant our petitions or deny our requests. He will answer us according to His perfect will and timing. Consider the following bible verses:

1. The Lord God Almighty hears our prayer:            

Psalm (18:6) "In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From His temple He heard my voice; my cry came before Him, into His ears."

2. The Lord God Almighty answers our prayer:

Psalm (17:6) " I call on You, O God, for You will answer me."

Psalm (34:17) "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles."

3. The Lord God Almighty helps through our prayer:

Philippians (4:6-7) "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
